I wouldn't think it was taken from it Mick in such a short time but who knows these days If its unikon rings then they must get 2 clicks when putting them on as they can loosen quite easily imo.

I agree with you but clubs wouldn't survive with these types of fanciers.Nothings good for the big team fancier,costs of more feed, more meds, more birdage etc etc, also these fanciers are subsidising clubs with going every week and sending more. Ive always went to every race in the fed programme ( when part of a fed )even with a small team of birds but now I carry a lot more birds as I send to every national as well and the expense is unreal. Back to 12-15 pair for me I think.

That's expensive Wattie but if you've only a few members then sometimes needs must m8. Glasgow fed are like Aberdeen and pay a one off payment for the year.( I think training is included ?) brilliant idea imo.

I watched Percy mesmerise my ybs today, they sat on roof like statues staring upwards, frozen stiff with fear, and that's the bassa about 200 yards away.

Thanks for reporting this bird George, badly injured and you took care of it and I thank you for that but some bassa has been racing it as you said it has an ets ring on it and I lost it weeks ago at a terrible toss I had and it shouldn't have an ets on it..some *expletive removed* low life has been racing my bird.

I don't disagree with Gareths theory on 4G but id say BOP is the main reason for losses.Lets deal with what we can and if yb racing is still the same then and only then will we throw in the towel. I think if we deal with what we can then its sorted.

Spoke to a guy today from Carlisle, hes spent £1000s on pigeons from the best in Europe and has 30 home from 114 ybs from a 50 mile race. He is an experienced fancier and told me his birds health and fitness were perfect. His theory is we are beat with the amount of bop on the go nowadays. I put him straight on the only cure I know
