Another good point Martin. I think there should be short races every week for recovered injured, ailing or later bred birds to catch up, as well as the normal program of course. Most ybs not schooled go down like snow off a dyke the following year imo.
Ill not run anything for anyone anymore Ian.I ran hand and foot for guys for many years and they all stabbed me in the back. Even the SHU said if I wanted a club to fly in Id have to start one myself.I wonder if that would be the case if I was an immigrant lol. All the best tomorrow lads, hope you have a great race.
I started with 50 for racing, had a few stinkers before that., lost 22 racing sending all every week. I actually sent 10 to an extra race which turned out a stinker but I was lucky to get 10/10.
I like to test my ybs also, that's why I sent almost my full team ( 23 of 28 )to the yb National 300 miles.I ended up with 16/23 so can look forward to testing them even more this year
Spot on Ryan. I spoke to an old fancier recently that says hes never had YBS, I asked him if any of his ybs ever go poorly and he said yes, but I just cull them all as soon as I see them go back, lol.Nuff said
Ive never had it during the yb season so I could tell anyone Ive never had it, if I wanted !!Maybe these fanciers you are talking about get it early on in the year, do they breed early m8?
Whether you've had YBS is not a reflection of how good a fancier you are. In fact, I would question anybodys observation skills if they say they've never had it lol.
