The figure of 28% carrying the disease seems very high inded. A widely held opinion is hat in many cases it is being spread via panniers due to members injecting during the season with live vaccine, a trait that seems to be on the increase. Just wondering if anyone had any opinions on this.

I,ve bought 2 seperate lots from Speedbird in the past and still have them both, they are first class birds, i have a million yb,s myself but was tempted and did look at them twice.

There are no straight lines in keeping pigeons, the hens will pair to each other after about 6 weeks because spring / summers arrived and all its instincts are telling it to. I also believe that if a team is on form and racing well a cock will win irrespective of the hen. Just my opinion.

I've just put 22 second round young birds into a weaning pen and will have far too many once they go into the main loft. My stock is primarily direct from Page brothers and from John Raines. These birds were bred for my own use but having a few too many will sell some at 6 for £100 if anyones interested, if not i'l extend the loft.
