yeah chriss what would u use if the leg had overgrown the ring size this seems to be a problem in the last few years or was this always the case and is there a need to make the rings a little bigger as i think pigeons in generall are a little bigger than what they used to be

well lennut tar i use a few don't know if they do a whole lot of good but i think johnston tonic isn't bad and extra calcium before eggs good idea too i think may be the g 10 pellet u kinda put me on the spot but i like these just off the top of my head

never done it but id imagine a good snips

i put mine in a aviary hat on front of young bird loft then put them into a hamper and leave it on top of sputnik and they will walk in then i put hamper maybe 6 foot away from loft them and let them fly over to the sputnik then 12 foot or so they always get fed when they come in do this for a for a week or two and start as early as possible i do it every day i don't lose many off lofts lost 1 two young but that was due to pergine attack i think may help any one else have a opion in this think i am advising the right way about this or would u disagree about what i do

i reckon brewers yeast is in the top 3 supplements for pigeons if not number 1 i use it 1 time a week out of season twice a week for racers and twice a week for breeders seem to get good results cant say they are down to brewers yeast but I'm not going to stop using it too find out

so they are really out and out show birds cant imagine putting these in your stock loft would help matters

wiley good question hard to know i only spend the hour in the morn and eve with mine i would imagine that most cocks would settle in your presence but as we all know in pigeon racing there all different id say there would bbe one or two who wouldn't completely rest and the schedule is the most important thing that u same every day say the best way is too leave it too the two times a day or once what ever way suits ure life

i think its mad that i was in a top loft few months ago alltough the birds were in great condition they werent the best looking birds and they were winners i bought 2 be nice to get a good looking one and a breeder or winner but give the last two any day

right there some pll couldn't fly no matter what u give them what millage are these best at timberra

timbarra my thoughts exactly but pll have to ask them selves when they see 5 or 6 year old pigeons for sale why i think its true though timbarra with the location some pll do live in what i like to call the golden gates or i robbed that saying off someone else but its a good one

yes there is a lot of crap over here from Europe but that down to the buyer not the seller if there are ppl out there willing to part with there money but to stop foreign birds would be mad just think back through the years the great birds and strains that have come out of Europe and if u look in your own feds i would say in over 80percent of cases the top flyer is flying with foreign birds must be with sprint races anyway all i have to say is its us that buys these pigeons bad and good its up to us to filter through the bad and find the good can be hard at times i know even look at the one loft races most of the top results are filled with foreign birds even look Brian Shepperd his famous winner was half his own breed and i think the other lines was the sumo pigeon of jos thone so they can enhance our birds and make them better just to find the right birds is the problem only advice i can give when buying birds is location location location
