hi damien if u give us what distace u are racing or for what purpose u are feeding bet ull get lots of help
-
mind your own buiss joe a man can put a any price on his own birds its up to the buyer if he wants he wants to buy simple as they put the the price on the pigeon not the seller
-
well as far as i know there is a way of timeing in your birds for yourself but not only lets say bring your 3 best results down to the club not in the know on ets but think this is the way it works
-
fair play chriss any coming from a new comer in all nice to see u wont want a resut by default fair play to u
-
yes mate leave east winds alone u wont reget it loads more to go dont worry
-
yes ure right rose just was saying that if a fancier clocks 20 as in he gets top 20 in the fed result he should be allowed to take the top 20 in the result some are saying to put a cap on the amount of positions a fancier can take i belive that can be done in a club but shouldn't happen in the fed as i belive the fed result should be a true result of the race
-
in an earlier post u said every fancier should have the right to time 20/30 birds in fed.but if you dont time them in the club they cant make the fed result.the experienced fanciers should no better and give the novices a chance as with out them there is no future and it would 11000 although i wrote 1100.but as i say common sence should prevail and a limit of five should be in place. yes but easy way around that just take every ones first 3 birds for the club result and send on the results to the fed im agreeing with what u are saying i just think for a fed result it should show a true result as i belive u should have to work hard to get onto one and not by default but would agree with keeping a limit on club races just take fanicers best 3 times nice to hear other pll opinions
-
yes it could mate but getting everone to agree on this is a totally different thing so in other wards there doesent have to be 1100 birds or so in the result like u said in an eariller post and if a guy clocks 20 birds if hes way behind his birds doesent have to be shown in the result but if hes ahead fair play to him i would agree with something along the lines of a 3 bird result in the club for the novices
-
yes once you have timmed five for talking sake,if you remove pocket clock the rest will only be timmed on your own system for your own records, but as i say there has to be a cut off.by the way i have a ets system but this season i will use my stb with only two other members joining me so the main system in the club cant cut down the result to lets say first 100 200 or what ever u want
-
as you know i believe there should be a limit of birds timmed, our fed has about 550 members, all i am saying mate is under these conditions with most clubs in the fed using ets now there has to be a cut off right now i know what u mean not up on ets yet didint know that was what u were talking about is there no way of useing ets to limt the result to 100 or 200 what ever u want just for my own reference as i havent seen ets work yet
-
how does he know he has 20 in front of everyboby else, untill he reaches the club so what i am saying if everyone done this not knowing were they are.in my fed there would be 11000 on the result. is your fed useing ets or something as i cant seem to understand what u are saying please can u explain
-
If every member in my fed timmed twenty birds there would be about 1100 birds on the result, thats some amount of paper, ink and if every member wants a result well with 40 birds a page it would just make things silly. no where in my post did i say every pigeon has to be in the result and if a man can clock 20 or 30 birds ahead of everyone else into a fed i say fairplay to him its takes hard work to do this
-
lets face it, if every fancier were to time their first twenty or so birds the result could become quite ridiculious.I believe especially with the introduction of ets, a limit of birds timmed should be considered.and once again what about the novices with mabee only a dozen birds you will sicken them before they even get started. well i thnk in the fed at least a fanicer should be able to clock in as many birds as they want to have a true result maybe in the club have a 3 bird limit lets face it lads this man or woman has put in major work into his pigeons and desrves every pladuit he gets here only thing i want to know what line of pigeon hes flying or who is he even anyone know pm me if u want please. tank u
-
some good points made here interesting only thing i would say is i belive a fancier should clock all his birds as if I'm behind him i want to know how many birds i was bet by and not waste my time with no hopers afraid club racing is going this way as Ive no club to race in so this year only fed racing for me hope i can do some damage a few points to make lol
-
just a question lads i was in the sport and left back now again I'm back wining my fair share of races but 1 thing i cant get right is when one cock comes into top form i can get about 4 5 weeks maybe out of him at this then i can see in a day when its gone tried different things got dropping tested all that done for cocci worms the lot all the usual stuff is this just the norm but i have seen results with the one cock in it many times usually with the same fancier i must say and i could be beating him just cant seem to hold the cock top form for longer than 5 weeks any one any opinions on this
-
with what pigeon men have to deal with hawks falcons wires bird flu just to name a few and then sh** like this happens
-
chriss i said the same thing about charitys here a good while back we are on near enough the same lines that one was shut down i think we need a new way of thinking i hear pll giveing out about ets how it will kill our sport its noting toward this
-
Sammy had 6 cocks killed last year two weeks before the start of the old bird racing season know how u feel mate but accoring to sum pll here we cand do anything f..k im is what i say
-
chriss do agree with u but id say its the winners that would change faster as a lot of the time thesese men and women put in more time into there birds and know how hard it is to keep hold of a good one
-
why dont we change our racing season a little so we can stop feeding these hawks when they need it most out of all that has been spoken here the rspb would be terrified of this one as they know the damage this would cause to the population of hawks
-
its ure buissness gangster but i dont even bother with him anymore i think he gets his little thrills off here pretty sad really u are right though i havent seen one post from him with a bit of class or intellenge
-
thank u Merlin but its not getting much of a response don't think it will catch on pity really
-
jimmy u may be right but do u think that pll today care as much about nature as much as they used too i dont think so i think this is a pigeon fanicers problem and i belive its up too us too fix it really just my opion do agree with the rest of ure post though
-
cushy i know where u are coming from but we fanicers have got no help for years off anyone and all these gimmicks just don't work what do u think of my last idea its just frustrating
-
wonder what the rspb would think if we stooped racing for a year or two or changed our young bird season around problem is lads we are racing our birds at the right time for the birds of prey when youngers are been fed and they are flying if we changed our racing season a bit this would bring down the hawks a bit as we are putting a false amount of food in the air when they are rearing youngers might need a bit of forward thinking but something needs to be done on a massive scale if u think about it they can rears full hatch because we put food in there mouths nd years ago i never seen pairs of falcons nest close to one another now i see it regalar just a tought here some pll might think its extreme but just think about it
