i just read it mate and to be honest i was not surprised with any of the findings it is basically saying what most pigeon fanciers have being saying for years it is common knowledge that in cites and towns on well known falcon sites on churches etc that members of bird groups collect the left overs from there kills that fall on the ground im sure its to hide the amount of rings etc the numbers are a lot higher if you take into account the number of birds that get injured by a tree etc when the attack happens trying to persuade the rspb and others that think alike to get change in any law is near impossible and a waste of time they know only too well that the falcon would not be doing so well only for our birds the only thing that i would say is we race and train our young birds at the wrong time its right when they need feed for there young and when the young falcon needs his hunting practise these young falcons get a lot more kills then they normally would have and a lot more eating which a lot more survives the first year of there life then what would happen normally one of things that we could do would be to change our racing season around a bit so that we are not filling the skys with handy meals
