Hi Ruth, thanks for taking the time to help this stray racer. The bird will be fine in the wild until it has recovered from it's race, and has probably got lost. If you are able to catch it by leading it into a shed or garage with seed, then reading the unique ring number we can tell you who the owner is or sort out someone local to help you out. Lee

if it gets any sun during some part of the day, use that to your advantage, try to get the sun into the shed. mine gets sun on from about 4pm onwards. its not ideal but as i say, my yearlings are flying and trapping well. all the best with it

anything is possible mate. i only have a 10x6 loft with 2 sections and had 5 unpaired yearling cocks i didnt know what to do with. i converted a wooden 5x3 tool store which has the front wired so its open all day. the birds fly out every day and trap straight back in, in fact it only took 20 minutes on the first day out to get them back into their new accomodation. it isnt permanent, but in the short term, anything is possible.

Scottish law is different to English ad Welsh law, so law society may not be able to help, but there must be an equivelant in Scotland. Lockerbie is Scotland isnt it?

im having the same problem. im sure my resident sparrowhawk can hear the birds being let out. next thing, its in the flock and the birds are off. ive been lucky so far. even standing out in the middle of the birds doesnt work. the hawk has no fear of people.

Despite many weeks waiting for paperwork then a refund, I sent them an email yesterday about my refund. They responded this morning apologising and confirming that the refund has been done. The result is right just the way it happened was very frustrating. If you are to use this company, the only advice i can give is make sure the items are in stock before you pay, and if something goes wrong, keep on top of them! Lee

I have usually leapt to their defence because I've had a good service from them in the past, but I ordered some stock before Christmas and didn't receive aything for three weeks. No paperwork, no receipt or anything I ordered. Not surprisingly they processed my payment within 48 hours. I rang after 3 weeks and was told they had been out of stock of the products, which I dont believe for one minute. I asked for a full refund which was met with a huge bad attitude, and 7 weeks later I'm still waiting. I will no longer defend this company, their recent treatment has been despicable. Lee
