All your really doing now is given them some vitamin C etc & birds will drink anything just about !!!!!!! if thirsty enough. I much prefer lemons (Have a lemon tree) or you can always give them Vitamin C tablets or powder, just like humans take if you like. Enjoy.

;D ;D ;D Horses for courses & I may be wrong ;) but as long as your birds are working at home (Which they should be) Your not going to teach an old pigeon etc anything, tossing him/her 100 mile up the track, than if you tossed them 10 to 15 miles in my view ;) . Chrisss !!!!!!!! Rings can be ordered in all different sizes, depending on the different breeds one could say etc, or the size of the pigeon. Before the imports come in here (Late 80's) we would not have changed the size of the rings in 25 odd years "Small birds" small rings !!!!!!! here. I still remember the day even now & it was years ago, that one of the big studs here showed off all his new imports. Well, I "PMSL" at the time, along with my mates. They were all like chooks etc & I had never seen anything like it in my life, :D he was a good mate of Louelles, & As one could say !!!!!!! their is mates & their is mates ??????????.But the only way these pigeons on the day would have got home, was as if the walked ;D ;D ;D. Now !!!!! Pigeon flyers being Pigeon flyers (Not me) but we have enlarged our ring size twice since then to my knowledge & when I look at some of the pigeons in the units on basket night etc I just "LMFAO" when there beside my little runts ;) . Position, Position & Position in your travels :) especially in the short ones :P We had a YB race here on saturday also :'( :'( :'( as usual for the top end flyers again (I don't waste my time with them) Normal situation again, first 6 spots etc right down in the south east corner, 25 miles + overfly from the blokes up here."But then again" they are all the champions here "PMSL" & "LMFAO" Strange thing thou would you believe now "RAFL" they all used to live up around me at one stage & I was better than most of them. Now !!!!!! none of them must have liked the trees etc or the fresh mountain air "JMO" because where they are now !!!!!!!!! it is as flat as a pan cake & one of the most miserable areas one could live here 8) 8) 8) & for some strange reason ????????? they think its a terrific spot, & it's got nothing to do with pigeons ;D ;D ;D. I may be wrong ????????? ;D ;D ;D but it's not the distance as such, that desides this question/query. To me !!!!!!! it's the hours on the wing that they do, which category they fall into etc. Under 10 hours "Sprint" over & above 10 hours "Distance". Enjoy.
