I purchased 130 rings in 2006/7 & I then ground them into the ground etc :'( :'( :'(. this year when I start training in the next month or so for the 2008 season I will have 45 old birds in my team & we hate old birds as such here, so there has been the odd one or two :( that looked at me the wrong way "LMFAO" shall we say, plus a few I stocked etc. Because you carn't beat youth in your stock loft in my view. PS, Show a bit of pity next time Jimm :B :B :B "Please", some of us just don't like to be embarrassed etc. Enjoy.

MMMMMMMmmmmmmm healthy ??????? not in my view. Lets just say now, they were 6 months old when he mated them up at xmas. Yes !!!!!!! they may have been a bit immature then, but they then reared some youngsters etc I believe, which should have helped them in the laying proccess, being that bit more mature by then shall we say. 11 months old now ?????? they should be raring to go, for what I know & yet still no eggs. "Cut your losses". Did all the squeakers they fostered ???????? survive etc, there could be an answer there. PS, Forget all those magic formulas etc, to help them breed at there age. It just might be time for the pot ;) or back in the race team. Enjoy.

For what I have seen & witnesed etc with the GPS now !!!!!!!, it is the benefit on race day, if you happen to be in an area which is closed in & you may have a holdover etc. with one of them on board the truck etc, off down the road a few miles to a better location & you have a release & a race, & all distances can be recalculated by computor, well before everyone presents their clocks, to get a result. "Just fantastic in my view". ;D ;D ;D But ????????? I have been known to be wrong ;) . Enjoy.

Wecome aboard newcomer, you could be in for a trip of a life time ??????? ;) now, or you could crash & burn dramatically & be destroyed. it's all in your hands etc now. It's hard as blazes at the worst of times :'( :'( :'(, but if you knuggle down & do the hard work required to be successful & have good birds, you will be in paradise with what you can achieve in this great sport at times etc, & with a bit of luck, you will make some life time friends which you will treasure till the day you die. GPS readings are the same as EC's ;D ;D ;D it's the way of the future & both of them are better than sliced bread ;) in my view, & pity anybody that want's to live in the past in this sport & do things the old way :P . Enjoy.

Don't for one minute worry about it etc ;) , if your birds are good enough ???????? you can be as good as those that feed their birds twice a day in my view. In fact !!!!!!! in my area it's quite normal for many flyers to only feed once a day, because we race in winter & for many flyers here, they go to work in the dark & then come home in the dark for much of the season etc, so that's the simplist way of solving this issue for them. Also for those that tend to feed to much at times, I believe it can be much healthier for the birds, only having that one feed a day etc, as they empty there system out so to speak on a regular basis & they are always keen when the next feed comes around, for what I have seen & learnt. None of the above for me I'm afraid ;) "For me", the way I look at things etc. What is going to kill this great sport in the long run is old age ?????????. Most of us !!!!!!! would be lucky to have 20 years left in front of us unfortunately :'( :'( :'( & the few from the younger generation now, which will come on line so to speak. Will not be able to afford to race them in most cases, because of the expense & the other pressures which life we place in their path etc, sadly. PS, I could be wrong ;) but I don't think so :P .
