tammy i think there are a few feds who wished they had the courage to hold over today, but lets just hope that those that are waiting for birds get them home safe and well, nothing worse than putting all that work into your birds only to see it wiped out in one weekend. the job of race controller is nothing short of suicide, dammed if you do dammed if you dont. how many of the members on here have ever thanked a race controller for a good race................... :-/ :-/, no but we all jump on him the minute we are missing a few. think about it.

Glasgow \fed holding over at wetherby looking for a lib early sunday morning if possible. as a result the federation young bird sale will now take place at 7pm on sunday at the chryston social flying club premises at muirhead, some cracking youngsters being offered from top national lofts here in scotland and some special birds from stuart wilcox, earling dean.....etc etc........................................... ;D check out the sale list on the "birds for sale" page.

glasgow fed libertated at catterick at 14.05, alledgedly the five min delay was caused by the convoyer running around the lib site like a madman after hearing his beloved glasgow rangers had just scored a second goal, offical comment from the convoyer "all of a sudden the sky went blue, blue blue" ...... :( :( :( :( :( :(

bruno i agree with what you say regarding mr barlow but i would be of the same opinion regardless of who it was, not just mr barlow. the example must be set at the top otherwise anarchy will prevail. far better to have a strong president with full support of council than the current situation, but we live in hope. you will never keep all the members happy all the time but i think if you are honest and upfront you will have more friends than enemies, people respect truth and transparency and someone who tries their best. no place for deceit and dishonesty and it builds poor foundations. still dont know which feds you are on about with the same criteria.
