I had same problem with mine.Had them at first race then next day knew something was wrong.They wouldn't fly any length of time and a few were sick and retainging food in their crops also some with spongy crops as they were full of water.I treated for 7 days with Harkers Adenoplus after which I sent dropping samples and crop swabs to De Weerdt which came back as slight Cocci and slight Canker which I treated for.The pigeons are looking 100% better but I feel its to late to try and train them for anymore races as we only have one race left.

This youngster came in this afternoon.Tired but otherwise ok.

Dalmellington had a stinker today with Ayrshire 3/19 0/6 0/1 1/1 at clocks 17.00.Race was from Alnwick 06.45 lib 109 miles .Winner timed 13.26.

Danny collected pigeon yesterday.

3 this morning 34 from 40 Arniston with Ayrshire well flown.

Ayrshire liberated 1682 pigeons Arniston 0830 10 12 mph SW Wind

Dalmellington 8 lofts sent 132 birds Arniston with Ayrshire 65 miles to Patna.

This yb came in tonight a bit thin but otherwise seems ok.

Just got my blue hen from Bedhampton .Well down and feet are maukit.Glad to see her .Now got 2/2.

Think it was Littlehampton last year and it is 10 miles further on than Bedhampton to me.
