For myself personally looking after the pigeons myself i started last season training 47 old birds which i thought was too many as at the 1st 3 or 4 races i never knew every pigeons ring number which is something i dont like but the main reason i dont want that many old birds again is i want it to be a hobby for myself not another full time job as i already have 1 of those and i dont want another wan :o ;) ;) 8) 8) 8) 8)

I've fed layer pellets for the last 3 yrs but not the bamford wans

32 old birds and approx 45-50 young birds with any luck

Mines will get horse beans in the pots in the boxes with layer pellets and breeding mix in the trough
