I agree with what you are saying Rab but our transporter are crap no covers etc so even if they drove doon early this morning the rain at 4am here was torrential i was up because it was raining that hard the noise woke me up so 1 side of the transporter would have been droont before they even got to Longtown :emoticon-0156-rain:

It's the same old story with our same old transporters it depends where it sits at the lib point 1 side will get wet the other wulnae.We had the chance to get new transporters 5 or 6 yrs ago when the pound was strong against the euro but we never took the opportunity at the time and have regretted it ever since!

To be honest i am not too fussed what happens with what route the fed members decide to go but i have said from before the old bird racing started that my young birds wont be going west and i will stand by that but let's hope whatever happens we get good returns with the yb's but i will suit myself as to what i do with training my young birds just as i always do Good luck to everyone with their young birds this year let's hope we all get good returns

Put the old birds out with the yb's flag up they had done 20 mins and the heavy rain came back on after flying in it for nearly 10 mins they hit the top of the loft like half bricks
