I Have converted the roof of my double garage (brick built) and the only air in is through the 2 foot sputnick , the air out go`s into void space above the ceiling and out 2 vents in the gable ends , not sure if it is working yet ! tried it for some of the old bird season and had 8 pairs up there but lost every cock but not a single hen !!. am still looking for some ridge tile vents to help with the air flow or may put extractor in . Work in progress.

she has been to Barcelona 4 times for the guy who owned her !but we will see how tuff she is with the scottish weather lol. may ad not from Slovakia to Barca.

Sorry never bumped into you (again )Andy was in the bar with the rest of your clubmates, Where was the basics stand never seen it ? , the show was alright but not very well set out and the need more stalls but not too bad for a £1 entry, was`nt happy at getting ushered out of the show hall just because they were judging best in show in the other hall. best looking racing doo i seen was in the hens t/w it got 3rd belonging i think to Mr Massey.well done

Cheers he`s an 06 pigeon with some good winners from him . Kerr was gutted and the sale of a life times work must be hellish , hope the guy keeps better in the future.very good turnout.

Some very nice birds on offer i picked 2 and got my first choice lot 24 out of Jock Allen doo`s there was`nt a lot of info on the birds but the cocks averaged £100+ then i left .

Can i ask a wee question, if showing racers does it matter if the last flight is not fully up ? Been wanting to show a few but all my best racers are not fully up yet. cheers

No 9 seems winner but (my opinion only )pick a bird that has not grown it`s last flight as your show winner .no 1 for me

I like giving them mostly Depurative when resting a bit costly but being a millionaire a don`t care LOL

I was speaking to a fellow club member about this very subject on friday at our prize presentation and he had a pigeon many years ago that never moulted its body feathers or its last flight and was going to bin it as a yearling but sent it over the water and bang timed it in the open result ! it went on to win Gold award in the SNFC and timed it 6 times in the result. some pigeon

i helped out old Alec Orr and he gave me some cracking Bricoux`s when i stayed in mayfield. had many a good time in easthouses miners on a friday and had to go back in the morning to get my clock lol.

Thats great Gareth , my brother and i`s (Grieve Bros)first national ticket`s were 40yrs ago my first one was a dark cheq hen 4139 from Rennes bred by Joe Hodgson the Rennes winner in 1955 i was only 15 and i have`nt got any better lol.

I think Peter Law(Law Bros) was in easthouses pigeon club when i joined. Love reading these old results , is there a website to get them off.

Best all round £9 and Depurative £12, 3/1 mix , they will get that till end of nov then it`s 50% of each till pairing .bird look and handle the best i have had them.
