i have been reading this post and i have got to agree its been great reading and i would like to add another great busschaert cock called the mean machine which was bred by Alan hindhaugh @ George Donaldson of Washington,unc,this pigeon was purchased in 1986, as a yb in a charity sale and purchased by cammock bros of horden the club where i race with my partner, the mean machine won 7, 1st, in horden east end, and 6, 1St's in the south east Durham federation, and 1st, up north combine lillers, 331 mls, 13,723, birds, 3rd unc folkestone,23,653, birds, 10th unc abbeville,19,061, birds,etc, and i believe he is the only bird to win the sea link trophy open to all members of the nehu on 2 occasions,he also won the all busschaert show held at louella, i think you will agree he was some pigeon that only come along every now and again,also the same bloodlines bred 1st up north combine bourges for rod adams, of south shields known as little miss bourges approx 572,mls on the day of liberation,and both birds are now responsible for generations of winners,so i think you will agree hindhaugh @ dondaldson, had some excllent busschaerts as well,podgy,

we have had a hen in the past that layed 3 eggs as she was our best hen they were all full and we under sat them and all three went on to make decent pigeons so dont worry it does happen but not very often,cheers, podgy,

the big fella,jack curtis, once wrote that blue boy was the best of the best at them distances and i for one would totally agree outstanding champion without doubt simply the best theres not many come even close, i just wonder what his vaulue would be todays market,podgy
