  1. Rules are there for everyone's good like them or not. If there is a loophole you need to raise it through your Club.Fed etc. Where would we all be if there was no rules or processes. If someone cheated... tough, if you were denied a trophy or a position... tough. Lets not forget that the Clubs are the first point of entry and that if someone is iffy ...a club can deny membership. So not for those in charge it is the Club's responsibility in the first instance. I dont believe that you mean this Sean, i think you are basing your opinion on one case, there are MANY reasons why somebody is banned i.e. debt suspension means all members must pay and make up the difference. If you have no structure or rules the whole thing would go down the toilet. Would you really fly against somebody that was a known cheat ...knowing that they were not fairly beating ...not for me

Never Fails that one of the walkers has a pop at anything the SNFC/SHU ....you walked ! you didny want to be part of this! Did you really think a Club with such a great tradition would fall cos two or three of the so called intelligenzia spat the dummy. Mind you it was important enough for those to try and mount a Coup at the SNFC AGM which turned out a cowp. Hey ho... the ironic thing is walking away cos of ETS and wowza some of the walkers are now getting ETS ....so what is all about nothing. 13. Just so yous know am not making this up Ramadan Ramadan is the 9th month in the Islamic calendar. Fasting or sawm is a very important part of Islam because it was during Ramadan that the Holy Qur'an was first revealed to the Prophet Mohammed (S.M). By fasting, Muslims are able to practice self- discipline and prepare themselves for any suffering that they may have to face. It is also spiritual training and a way of submitting to the will of Allah. Fasting during the daylight hours for the whole month might seem very difficult but this is not so. The Islamic calendar is lunar, which means that each new month begins with the appearance of the new moon Therefore the date of Ramadan varies annually. Ramadan starts on November 5th 2002. As Ramadan approaches, there is always a great deal of excitement among Muslims when they first see the moon. In Muslim countries everyone comes out of their houses, or on to the rooftops, or up on the hills to see the moon. It is compulsory for every Muslim over the age of 12 to fast during this month but there are some exceptions. People who are very old or sick (physically or mentally or both) do not have to fast. And neither do pregnant women, travellers, or nursing mothers, but they must fast at a convenient time later on. The fast begins at dawn and ends at sunset, throughout the month of Ramadan. During this time, eating, drinking, smoking and having sex are all forbidden. The fast ends at sunset, and the meal, which is taken then to break the fast, is called 'Ifter'. This meal is a happy occasion in all Muslim families. Eid-ul fitr Eid Mubarak 'Holiday blessings' Muslims fast for a month and when the next new moon is visible, Ramadan is over and the month of Shawwal begins. On the first day of Shawwal is the feast of Eid-ul-Fitr. The 'Eid' means a festival of ever-recurring happiness and it is the time of great joy and pleasure for Muslims. The Eid festivities begin as soon as the moon is first sighted. Sometimes, preparation to celebrate the festival begins well before the Eid day. Eid Mubarak On the Eid day many Muslims gather at the mosque or at a Maidan (outdoor open place for prayers) and a sermon is given by the Imam (priest) to mark the end of Ramadan. All day Muslims great each other saying 'Eid Mubarak' (Blessings & joy of Eid). Before they go to the Eid prayers everyone puts on new clothes. Families, relatives and friends visit. People send gifts, eat different kinds of special food and sweets on this day. Muslims give away money and food for the poor. In many Muslim countries shops are open throughout the day & night during the Eid day.
