club races start around here this weekend 60miles to here. supposed to be last week but pushed it a week back

what the best times around?

what sort of distances are you flying?? seen the wind speed tomorrow?!?

Wrexham & District Fed marking today for Sunday race, think they will get one tomorrow, no rain on line of flight but strong south west winds forcast

can't see them going today either??

hard race up this end i think. 4.08pm flying aprox 357 - 367 best i heard of. not many birds around though.

Birds up 6am - work now!!

nice one, cheers. Not a lot gone from up this end (North Section) I haven't sent, but my mate who i help out has. I'm off to work in a bit though :-( Hopefully they will be ariving home after I get home at 5. Looking at 8 1/2 - 9 hours today. 377 miles. in a north west wind (head)

Yes a West / South West wind is ideal for us. but nothing so far this year.

think its around 377 miles up this end. North / North West wind forcast.

The Irish pigeons shouldnt be over this way, as i'm in North East Wales.

We seen them at around 10.30am

We are on the North Wales coast. After the birds had come this morning, we were sitting there and watching batch after batch (20 - 30 in each) coming along the coast, and then when they got to around the Prestatyn area heading out to sea, as if they were heading to cumbria etc. But they did not look like the were racing , they were just plodding along, so if anyone is in cumbria area , maybe even up in scotland would be interested to hear if you had a funny race and where you are racing from. They wouldnt be pigeons heading into North Wales as they were only at 100 miles and were well home before we saw these. just thought i would share this with you!!

Could people please post rough velocitys give members an idea of when to expect their birds??

Welsh South East National were up at 10am

The birds are at Lillers (keep getting told brussels on lib line, but sure they are at lillers) , but due to the channel been misty there will be a further update at 11AM.
