  3. And they still going to call it a National?
  4. they keeping the boundary to the line stated ????? ie no north members~?
  5. Hi, has the RPRA passed the use of thimbleless T3 / T2 clocks? Some members up here are saying they haven't , yet on linell's site they say it was passed at the october Clock, Ring, Weather Forecast and Liberation Site Committee meeting. Any ideas ???? Thanks
  6. Was Blue Diamond sold to Taiwan?
  7. thanks for you help everyone
  8. Hi, anyone know roughly how long does it take Linell to convert a T3 for it to take just rubbers???
  9. looking great their Gladdo, At first glance people may think it is a small gap between the lofts. Went over to Liverpool last year to pick a youngster up, met some cracking blokes and top fliers. Their lofts just like this, birds used to it no problem. Can't for the life of me think the name of the partnership now (3 names if i'm correct, near J Weader)

  11. Fed fees around here £100 , 1st 10 bird are free (16 races, (might change this year)) then 30p per bird. Club fees around £20.
  12. Where are you BazzaM??
  13. Anyone ordered their rings for the above?
  14. it has been 85.9p / litre but Diesel doesn't seem to be dropping very fast. Birdage still only 30p per bird in these parts.
  15. Basically this line cuts out the North Section as it stands now. The Welsh South East National, is flown under WHU rules, and you have to be a member of this to fly in the named National. All birds not WHU rung must be transfered over to the WHU as they class even GB rings as foreign. Thinks its 25p per ring now. Used to be 50p.
  16. Does anyone use a 'Bull Box'? If so how do you find it? Interested in this method.
  17. Is this the one your after http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b007d5ys
  18. Hi, I have a lot of rings, most not so old. My Grandad used to collect them and now I have them , most are from the home countries, but they are good to look at from time to time. Keep up the good work and enjoy.
  19. Cold out there this morning, car running for at least 20 mins heaters on. Still Frozen solid. Will have to go check the drinkers in the aviary's as soon as dawn breaks.
  20. I think as someone has already stated if the birds are good parents then there will not be a problem. Seen them in the local town with young in the nest at begging of December / end of November on a regular basis

  24. I think it all depends on the fanciers circumstances, e.g. work patterns etc. You look at the results now and you see birds sprinting out of 500+ miles. So the right bird on widowhood would do the trick, but there again maybe you need that extra pull to the loft. One system might work for one , but wont for the other. All trial and error.
  25. I thought so yes. if not better defiantly on a par. maybe that was because it was a one off and something different? but it was big, loads of birds lots going on, great presentation night, good weekend all round. Went to the dutch show in about 2002 I think it was , met Mr Koopman had a chat etc, promised me and my mate a pair of youngsters off the best. Good times.
