So in your opinion what makes the gold cup harder? The only difference I can see from a 500 mile national race and the gold cup to me is 40miles? Is it the route?

Imo the only difference between 475 and 540 (gold cup to me) is 65 miles there isny any magic that happens to make into ten times harder..... there has been races from 675 when the finlays done it in jig time with home alone ladie...there has been coast races that have been stinkers....imo it's all down to the weather on the day and if you have prepared them right

I'll vouch for wiley's feeding... I fed it to the word for the 475 mile race from carentan.... think my wee hen done it in 12 hours to be tenth open incase ye don't know I stay in sunny Lanarkshire lol
