The berries are just starting to blacken on the trees just now in Inverness, they may be ripe down your way just now if you can be bothered to pick them. I think they need to be partially cooked. Alternative you can get Sambucol from Boots. Two caps mixed with one bottle of Yakult and a gallon of water, sorts their muck out after about three days.

I was at the same two races. First week I had 8/16 by clocking time. Last week 7/11 by clocking time. They all came out the same transporter and had to fly in the same temperature. Wouldn't like to move the racing any later.

Search on Slugs Copper Tape. You can get it from B&Q and there are some videos on YouTube. Looks like the easiest method.
