Updated all our club clocks last night and everything went ok. Things were running well enough up to now so hope this continues. Hope everybody's updates run as smoothly as our went.

Due to the amount of missing birds from the area after Saturday's race I wish to inform anyone that may have any birds in numbered SU07 410 - SU07 600 that they are from the Downfield Friendly RPC in Dundee. As we were an independent club last year they carry no Fed letters. This post is intended to clear any confusion as in recent posts in the lost & found birds section as some members are sometimes not sure who to contact about them. I can be contacted anytime on 07774 431142 Thanks, Dougie

As chichichi mentioned have a look at them all then decide. I'm certainly not trying to mislead anyone, it's like everything else you get what you pay for. We've been using Unikon for four years and never had any problems, as I mentioned I don't know much on the other systems, all I was trying to do was give some imformation on what I do Know.
-
I'm pretty sure that Unikon will supply a master to the club as long as there is 1 member using Unikon. With Unikon there are no connections to unplug or wear out when you take the pocket clock to the club for marking/reading. Don't know if any others can do this or not.

Once again, read the original post it states "there will be more information in the fancy press in the coming weeks" and "at this point make fanciers aware of the event" surely to goodness no one in their right mind would want anyone to comment on such a huge venture as this will hopefuly turn out to be, before they have concrete facts. :-/
-
I think members should take the time to read posts properly before starting to snipe at each other. The original post say's nothing about the SHU rules and is inviting organisations from the UK, not just Scotland. It also states there will be more information in the future and given the size of this fantastic venture then they should be given this time to make decisions before all the stupid comments are made. :-/

Hi guys, sorry I have to disagree with you on this one. A few of us turned up unannounced for a recent visit and he answered the door with a scraper in hand. ;D ;D ;D There's no doubting the old guy's invaluable experience, after all that's the type of guy we all learn from and probably why Luc has him as loft manager. But you certainly can't knock the guy by saying he's not hands on.

What a great gesture! Count me in please. Thanks Dougie
