Not losing races is where the bricks come in, but i defer to your superior methods and will keep those thoughts for next years yb's. all the best -
Personally i don't watch Scottish fitba due to it being no better than league 1 down south. I'm no deaf though and from what i have heard it'll be 0-0. Rangers have won the league so won't be giving it everything and Celtic aren't good enough to take advantage of it, so 0-0 is obvious!

Intending to have a home-made "bus shelter" to sit in for the young bird season. In the meantime i'll keep sapper company out in the cold!!! Cracking set up you have there.

sounds very much to me that percy has attacked the batch and turned them off course, the ones already home have split the scene in the right direction, most of the rest will show up but i fear not all!!

first thing to do is throw a brick at them, and every time they land on a roof, ANY roof in your vicinity, go and throw another one at them. When you get them down on the loft or garden then you have half a chance of getting them under control. Then only half feed them for 3 days running until they don't want to sit anywhere other than where you want them to. -
just wondering if the race was a smash or did you get others home?

missed out this year ma self but will defo be going 2011, might enter a few birds as well. I'm quite lucky when i have an entry or two

True enough mate. Each to their own, but in'97 we had a beautiful team of about 50, one of which had pin feathers eveywhere, told ma da to get rid of ti as it spoiled the team. He told me to leave it alone. That yb topped Strathclyde Amalgamation in the final yb race, it was then 3rd west sec 50th open snfc Hastings 2001. Bad characteristics doesn't always mean a bad doo1

Few of the guys said you were a slabber

Still got a few in the nest but almost finished. Have bred 70 this year, as yet all healthy. If i was killing 19 out of 68 i would seriously look at my methods!!!!!
-
80 on now, in time we'll be in the hundreds again, especially as the season progresses.

Still pulling that stroke buying empty pens and gettin 2 for 1 deal James

I've been like that for 10 yeaqrs already so no hope for me when i'm 60, IF i get that far!!!

Don't even annoy yourself about that. If they train well they'll race equally well, one of the laziest birds i've ever came across won the section for me about 5 years ago. Seriously forget about them sitting around its not a concern.

53 members and 17 guests totals 70 the school i went to lol. Good to see the increase though.

Young guy Martin, sorry canny mind his surname, he's about 20 i guess. After him its straight to the grumpy old men in their mid forties like ma self!! (46)

I give mine equal measures of Kibbled Peanuts, hormoform, red band and hemp seeds. Other than that there is an Irish/Breeder 50/50 mix in the feeding trays, have to say that on race days the doos don't eat much regardless of how tough a race it was. They drink plenty though so i have honey in the water.
-
If you have on old drinker about, take a piece of wood and attach it to the top instead of the cone shaped top. put grit/mineral dishes behind the spars to prevent the doos soiling it. Put a normal drinker on top of the wooden board. Thats it really, nothing to it, apart maybe from working out exactly what i mean!

i'm sure Shug Harkin will win Camby and Motherwell, timed his all pooler, both clubs! Good blue hen he's got there, thats 3 noms in 3 races its won hundreds of £'s already. Dougal bred it out of his Delaney doos. Think they are Grondalaers. That Shug will win more noms than any fancier in the FED! He's deadly with them, has been for years.
-
not in 'til 11.30 ma self. The Motherwell doo is doing 1318 with the 2nd to Rab Harkin doing 1311. No point posting times its velocities that tell where the winners are, so post vel's if poss

Don't jump too quickly. Try massaging some olive oil, or any oil for that matter, into the foot for a couple of minutes. Then if you have 1 of they counter sink drill bits, turn the ring on it to take the edge off the plastic, not too much but enough to make the entry of the foot easier. You'll get it on if they are 14 days or less. Give it a go and let me know how it works out.
