  1. Didnae get him until next day but considering he is an 09 latebred and he had already done Marlborough i'll forgive him coming late, just this once though
  2. You'll need to give them a lifebelt and goggles if you go today Alan!!
  3. I use baby potatoes and clay formed into small balls these days, neighbours around here don't even bat an eye at me i've been doing it for 30+ years so i suppose they must be used to the Nut going round chasing birds off their roof Regardless what method you use it is VITAL that you don't let them sit on any roof. Even throwing a ball into the air will scare them off without touching the roofs
  4. Sorry i was reading and typing at the same time, just trying it out but no got it NEARLY right yet, hitting wrong buttons left right and Centre!!! sorry lads. They are now sold.
  5. I offer these young birds for sale at £60 the pair. This is what it should have been, sorry. They are from Blue Ck SU 09 2794 who scored in both the tough SNFC Marlborough race and SNFC Eastbourne. He also timed at 20.59pm from Ypres 2011 but missed the result. This Ck is from Bunny's Boy 1st West Sec SNFC Newbury 2003 and 4th SNFC Newbury 2007 for Wilson & Cairns Motherwell, this Ck is from Ron Williamson N.I. Direct stock, when paired to a Blue Jan Theelen hen gifted to me from Jim Hannah of Blantyre. The Dam of the Yb's is Cheq Wf SU 10 L 355, raced steady to Peterborough then stopped to let the Ck race. She is half Ron Williamson N.I. and half Jan Aarden.
  6. Definitely parasites cause this behaviour.
  7. Ditto
  8. A fortnight TOPS if you stick to it and don't let them rest on the roofs. I use my Slung and traips around the streets doing it but its worth it on a Saturday when your doos clean trap. WELL WORTH THE HASSLE!!
  9. Never let them rest on a roof, no matter how far from your house they land get after them and throw something suitable at them until they fly off. If they go to another do the same, the only place they should get peace to sit is on the loft. If you consistently chase them from the roofs they soon learn it is not a place to land. Give them 2 beans short rather than 2 extra, keep them keen to be around the loft and your trapping problems will be sorted. My late father used to keep them to this motto, Young birds can only be in 3 places, the Loft the Basket or the Sky if you achieve this you will beat all before you.
  10. Clarke would be a world wide popular winner, though i'm thinking Fowler has what it takes to put in another low score. Been a good tournament anyone of 10 could win it.
  11. I remember as a kid all the working men bouncing home full of drink and pockets full of cash. Everyone seemed happy in those days with neighbours being friends as well, different these days
  12. This is the drug used to treat Helicobacter Pilori in Humans, it causes vomiting in many people, Not everyone but a lot so it could i suppose be making Some doos sick and not others
