  11. Annan, Penrith, Kendal, Lancaster, Leyland, Whitchurch, WORCESTER!!! Cheltenham, Blanford Forum, Charnock Richards, Appleby, take yer pick Consett, Wetherby, Ripon, Newark, Selby, Eastbourne, Marlborough, Bovingdon, Tow Law, Newbury, Morpeth, Wincanton, Take yer pick Think what i'm trying to say is, it depends who you speak to regards BAD race points or ROUTES, there will be Good and BAD every season on EVERY ROUTE depending on who you ask. What i don't like is PREDICTIONS that a race will turn out like a or b, because only AFTER a race can you determine whether it was a success or not. Any given Saturday will be different from the one before. JMO.
  12. My compliments to the owner of Pens 14 to 17, every bird this fancier has entered since the shows started has been a credit to him and themselves, well done Sir
  13. They needed to put extra pens up for both classes tonight there were that many entries, i'd guess about 80 in each class.
  14. I was 17 years in the pub/club business and its been dying a slow death since the eighties. Great to see the couple doing well with your local Mick but its January to May they have to survive, you'll see a HUGE difference in how busy it is in those months. I wish the owners a Roaring success but experience tells me it'll be a long hard road for them.
  15. I was paying £25 a bag years ago Gordon, so its actually cheaper now and imo, is the Only feeding that's value for money, does exactly what it says on the Tin
  16. Still Only £24.60 for a 25Kg bag, have a look. http://www.haiths.co...oner-CASM01034/
  17. Going to Eddie Newcome's loft as a 12 year old boy, seen Red Rock, The Blonde and many other top pigeons, i was fascinated with everything i seeen from the dookits to the doos and the Feeding he used. Fist time i ever saw Peanuts being fed to doos and some of them were in big lumps of Toffee, apparently his friend worked in a sweet factory or something like that. He was the master of them all, JMO.
  18. I remember talking to you Andy after my father passed away and told you i had a list or targets that i wanted to achieve, it was Win 1st Club then 1st Section Fed then 1st Open Fed then 1st West Section SNFC from across the Water. That was my list in total and the only 1 left to do is Top the Fed. So that is my goal at this moment in time
  19. I'm gonna try to do better in the early races next season, set some up especially for them, and hopefully have some success at SNFC races later in the year.
