what can i try with a infertile cock 10 yrs old
Roland replied to carrera's topic in Breeding, Strains & Families
Ok, well you took a punt and hopefully you will get a couple or so youngsters. Artificial would cost a lot. Absence makes the heart grow fonder and ardent. So would feed maples / tic 225 -25% protein and clip feathers, half a asprin, wheatgerm and a blowlamp to warm him up if you think it would help. Good luck. -

Wouldn't bother. Surely since, and in his time, you have got his blood / genes in the loft :-/ If not then there is no reason to even try, because he's not bred anything worthwhile. If you have, then let them carry the genes forward. -
Galvanised steel wire welded mesh 1" x1/2"
Roland replied to pigeonpete's topic in Misc Items For Sale
Cool pete.... you'd better get ready to order some more. May well want a roll myself, but would have it picked up. Yes I will have a roll, too good to miss eh! Will pay cash when I collect, or have it picked up. -
I liked them! And as I stated, when Duncan first put them up them 'Spillage Free'hopper / feeders. I bleive that they may well sell well at Blackpool as will tye spillage ones. Was going to ask - may have done as I did intend to, and feel I did - whether he could / would make them in 'Package form' for easy transport, room wise, and assemle via simple to glue togther or however. Still believe that it is a goer.

I'd paint anything and everything bar the Inside of nestboxes. Also Mark, isn't the expanding an shrinking of 'Dead' wood referred to as breathing, and or allowing the AIR to get to it ? :-/

Can't afford that number Frank lol ;D ;D

Nice, to say the least. Well thought out too, particularly like the walk in traps.

Good manager actually .... you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear lol ;D ;D ;D

Now that is a cracking looking bird. Bold and wide with the look of intelligence. What's the last bid? :-/

I've bought in from a couple this last season or so. Plus the odd one I liked advertised as I'm in the throes of rebuilding my family so to speak. Not one has guaranteed me that the birds are good, will breed winners let alone state they are winners! And these are of good lines, no two ways about that. plus one must relate to a simple fact also. These 'Names' that race 200 - 300 birds each season, and get only get the odd swallow need you louella knockers to buy their' culls. If any one here even in the UK has good birds, wins NATIONALS Sections etc, good Fed winners etc. Louella is knocking on their door, no two ways about that!
-
So are we to take it then that Bussearts / Jan Aardens Delbar etc. etc. are no good today :-/ That those selling them have a blumming cheek as these strains died - mostly before Masserella was even born! They is ludicriss! Nationals and internationals are still being bought off Louella's birds. There was over a million rings sold by the RPRA alone last year. How many were put onto winners :-/ :-/ :-/ Of course Louella sells rubbish! Of course every bird bred isn't a winner! Main difference is that louella sales the youngster OFF proven stock .... unlike many that sell their PROVEN culls to gain some of their money back on Novices and Sheeplike dreamers'. Though the chances are slim of a National winner, you don't get many from them culls too many cue up to buy. And in simple terms they are umpteen times as many every WEEK sold as Louella sells in a year!

Quoted from slinky slitheroe I read the pedigree. What iam saying is this louella have a futtin cheek to ask the fancier to take that chance for a start the pigeon should be replaced if its infertile end of story. May be the shoe on the other foot.... Think if takes a punt on great birds for a fraction of it's true worth when a mite younger I'd- like mostwould think you'd ' .... have a futtin cheek to ask Louella to take it back'! What I;m say is 'The PUNTER shouldn't have taken the punt in the first place'!!! :B :B :o

I think you have a personal problem, or at least a dislike for Louella. What they are saying is simply. Buy in good faith and they are pretty sure you are getting a good deal, plus a chance of putting some good 'Blood' in your loft. Seems reasonable, and a sensible realistic add to me. But no one wants unhappy buyers such as yourself now do they? So they hopefully put off you prospective dismissive grunters ... Yes they know you will then not buy, but still have uncalled for side swipes. Why else would you pour scorn upon them and try to tarnish a reputable good stud. Yes a very genuine stud who have over the years brought renowned world class pigeons within the working class prices!!! :-/ :-/ :o Or at least their offspring. Don't know what axe you have to grind, but you could have easierly have spoken and got satisfaction with Louella at any time. Could understand it if they held you to ransome and bled the money out of you!

Let's get this straight too. They are in the wrong photos etc. The grizzle is photo 5, but is lot 6 :-/ Is that right and Phote 6 is lot five? :-/

Who remembers FRANK HALL and London Auctions
Roland replied to demolition man's topic in Young Birds
Strange :-/ :-/ :-/ No one remembers any good looking on, just some uglier than others lol ;D ;D ;D -
Any way, back to the question 'Paratyphoid! Can it be stopped'? Quite simple No, of course not.

Nice birds too. I went up and fetched mine last Monday. Had a lovely cuppa and chat with Bob and his good lady (Yes I learnt a little too - I know that wasn't hard lol ;D ;D). I saw the others that Bob intends to raise a few bob with for a good cause. Must be soul aching when folks let you down after one tries so hards for a good deed and with no personal gain whatsoever! Indeed costs to Bob himself. Personally a Email saying like 'Sorry Bob, can't see my way clear now' wouldn't go amiss. Be far better better than peeing the good man off!

Very true Del Boy. Even a side West in wind gives the East Coast CLUB boys too much help for us to even contemplate staying with them, let alone beating them. All sections should be corridored like the shape of the Viking ship. Even all facing towards the breaking points would be good and a dsarnsite better and fairer.

Tesco's price takes some beating. Yes I used it(never again). Used it very sparingly of course, and it still ruin my season. It iss very potent. Too much and you will soon have toxin poison. Yes it will clear (in time), but will end your race season. Never touch the stuff now, is just to strong to use. Most things can be cleansed from the blood or system. Toxin poisoning too included. Rest, a little linseed and barley etc. or whatever in 4 - 6 weeks. This will clean your season up if over used it and that's a fact. Why not grind grass up and feed that :-/ Never seen a weak buffalo or bull etc. have you lol ;D Or algae, plankton, look at the power of Whales Their’ system can cope because it was intended. A cow chews 'Cud' etc. but has 8 stomachs. Nectar is great in quantities for speed… just look at the beats of a Humming Bird! Now that is why one should be feeding nectar lol!

Strangely enough Slugmonkey, I advocate that entirely. I personally don't want to get up in the night about 7 .30 to time in short races, so I can take the misses shopping or whatever twaddle many spout. I 'd much rather have a lay in. Infact I seldom ever do, and certainly haven't of late. Now if that means I send to expierence the birds, to get them honed to race finess, then so be it, for I am more than happy with the 1200 ypm races - or less - which are much more to my taste. Now if I lose those birds not happy with that, then fine, go and sit on a church top and save me feed. A good flyer when asked why he won't try the South Rd states simpley. 'I'm not interested in the 1500 ypm+ Velocities etc. and blow homes. I want the 1200y/pm or less'. etc. etc. Like the man says, 'Ask who won he 125 miler and it's hard to recall. Ask who won the 'Lerwick etc. and most know'.

Thanks Pete lol Bigda like the renoun 5 Great Scots you can't remember the 6th lol. As for what about decanio, Larson, dalglish, mc clair, bremner, law, Jordan, Different eras to make a half a side side.... Remember the world Cup winners ALL class acts and not counting argueable our best Striker ever Jimmy Greaves etc. But Bigda, you forget it is only after they big pay days are over here that that step down and play easy footie for a decent wage rather than go down 2 - 4 league tables here for less merit, but VERY good supporters cheers. :P Mind I also have stated that many great sides have a great scot in them. Gemmil, strachen etc. to add to those you've mentioned. But you know, as your mate Thatcher would say, 'One swallow doesn't make a summer'.

Marvellous that the managers don't get replaced but leave ... then hard to replace lol. Bigda the coffee is brewing and your smelling nothing :-/ :-/ :)nose must be bunged up lol ;D ;D ;D
