  3. probably some of the problem is some dint get to harvest so alot of cerials sat in fields later so more food more rodents
  4. my great uncle used to give a stale loaf to pigeons and stand in water birds used to go mad for it , heres another one barley in oven on a tray on a low heat for 2 hours the birds love it
  5. have you got a partner ? they have there uses and pigeons tend to fly better for women
  6. perhaps to be used as an orniment at that price id hate to drop it
  7. i suppose alot depends on the birds , some familys like work and mature better than others where others are slow developing both mentaly and physicaly , i also have heard of 3 races then stop ectra got do what suits your birds at the end of the day . If i had a family of birds that didnt like yb racing i would try the 3 races then stop , at least they would know whats expected of them for the future
  8. I like my birds to complete the programme all my best birds have always been the ones that have been to every race to the coast

  14. you might need to invest in some leylandi lol
  15. get an old bean tin or something similar and put some corn it it to rattle if you give the birds a few seeds at a time you could lure them into an over turned box propped up by a couple of sticks attached to some wool or cotton then yank away when birds under it , taking the birds away will be a pointless excercise as they will return . Hope someone closer sorts you out soon . Mark

  17. no lol , rating 1 out of 10 looks to complicated the more moving parts the more can go wrong , was looking at a cleverly designed secton door which slided up for birds to enter was made of wood dowels and yup dowels were bowing so it din't function properly , great design not so great material to use
  18. try B & Q but there dear you may say , there usualy removing display sheds at this time of year so you'l probably pick one up cheap , wont he Kirky
  19. as long as the antennae of the ETS is fitted within the confines of the loft or trapping systems, not underneath external landing boards then fine , i have either read it or heard previously that birds couldn't exit once clocked , but not stated in rules so only difference between external and interal couple of inch no bob wires at front needed as will slow birds entry looks like may get another sputnik lol

  21. if the bird enters and clocks in on the pad as the hole it entred is open it could walk back out which would be againt R.P.R.A rules
  22. the pad will be positoned inside so they wont hit it till past the bobwires
  23. nar trapping on top with bottom enclosure for bathing and release so in fact no room for them to get on top of each other , i took that into consideration
