well i did try to warn you , hate to say i told you so pigeon , when you stand on the floor and it cracks under any weight , but plenty of knots fall out so rain gets in and can see out and you wont be happy when you get it

buy some smoke bombs easiest way to test if your ventilation is working if smoke billows out you know you have it right

i would personaly make the tea up and just juice the onion and garlic with the lemon and add once cooled down as you say it will kill the propertys of the garlic and onion and the lemon juice will act as a preservative , also i wouldnt make that quantity as will only keep for 3 days
