maybe better off buying two or three birds for the same money off a fancier that is winning very rarely do u get good quality birds for cheap not saying it does not happen of course it does but one or two for the stock loft might be a better option

i think jimmy is right here i think what i would say is the more experienced fancier would know better how to handle birds better on the darkness and even know how to act in the loft around them causing less stress at the end of the day we are puting birds though a process of moulting by closing up the loft locking out light and this also blocks out fresh air i don't think its the moulting process that the big problem i think its the lack of air in the lofts

is there really a such thing as young bird sickness is it not in most cases things like adeno virus and other illness like that and pll just say they got young bird sickness what actually is it :-/

maybe a swab test might be the best way to go as nearly every pigeon illness caused wet louse or green droppings :-/

i love a pigeon that will go all out to defend its box and they are very aggresive racing hard to get to the end of them
