Hi guys , any advice would be appreciated.

Having trouble with my young birds going back through the bob wires !!

They have learned somehow to get through them from inside the loft back out and it’s a nightmare, only just got 3 back in that had eaten then went back out , how can I stop this ?

Thanks for any advice

yes, lift every second wire up until they go through a few times ,just until they get used to them

No they go through them no problem but the issue is they go back out through them outside again? They look tight enough I just don’t know how they can?

add extra bob wires so they can't fit through them and put a strip of wood along the front of bobs to stop them pushing them

Slope the inside landing board ,keep clean so birds slip on it when trying to get out --put slippery surface on if required.if this is where you let them out ,hinge inside landing board so you can lock flat when lifting bobs to let them out.

Put a light piece of timber inside the trap with a nick out behind each bob wire

So as they cant Push them to the side ,hope you can follow my meaning <_<

Thank you lads very much appreciated

You've got to use the right rod that the Bob wires swing on if it is not thick enough there is to much play and the birds can get through them you might get the correct rods at Coxedene.
