Novice Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 Correct Phil, we show our racers at as many shows we can and we had tickets at Blackpool with our racers as well as show racers, the only problem I now have with the racers is if Liz picks out what she thinks will do well in the showpen then I have to struggle to get them in the racing baskets. :( I don't wish to disrupt this thread but Tammy's post hits the nail on the head. There are 2 completely different selection criteria used 1 is looks only for show birds while a true racing fancier selects on performance. I think Delboy's post inferred this. Yes they are stunning hens.

Mixxy Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 can you give an idea of results you had with these pigeons please.

seaforth Posted November 29, 2009 Author Report Posted November 29, 2009 i am giving up because of bad hawke attacks and losses but also where i kept my pigeons at a little plot of land i no longer can get the lease :-/ so i have got a little 8x6 loft for showbirds because i cant let birds fly about around my house
