Ryan Hay Posted April 4, 2018 Report Posted April 4, 2018 I stay on the coast and there is abundance of of seaweed and was wondering if anyone feeds their birds seaweed? if so what type? And how to prepare it? You hear that it's good for you so was wondering if it would benefit my birds.
Kyleakin Lofts Posted April 4, 2018 Report Posted April 4, 2018 Salt and Iodine content. Some feed dried seaweed powder (kelp), so in that respect, it would be good for them, but like most things, not in abundance.
THE FIFER Posted April 4, 2018 Report Posted April 4, 2018 I see lots of racing birds down the beach, they pick at it but also the shell grit which has particles of coal in it, i used to gather it and spread along side the front of the loft, always batches of racers down the beach
