havent raced for a few years but always used fantails, also kept a couple with young birds , hopefully racing this year, think the fantails settle young birds,

 

Ive never had any fantails do they fly about or stay about in the garden.

let them out hungry before you want them as trappers they will have a short fly then sit about the loft, I have garden fantails

I'm just starting in racing,yb's this coming season. If you are use a dropper pigeon that will sit about the loft,won't that encourage the bus to sit about instead of trapping. Or has the dropper been trained to come in at the rattle of a food can.
