Matthew, it sounds callous, but I was told to worry about the ones in the loft and to forget the others.

You will become used to it, but if you end up with half the pigeons you started with, you will have had an excellent season. :)

The new ones you got ?? are you keeping them caged up a while so they see out and then try them out after a while

They been cooped up for 5 days and nosy outside but now I have seen them 2 hanging about but not coming down, just landing on houses round the villiage, makes me wonder if they manage food or thirsty

Matthew if they've had a look around they'll make their way back to the loft eventually if their still in the area.

They are still in the area but it's 10pm as I write this and hate the thought that they are out all night

I've had Ybs stay out 3-4 days before returning to the loft after their first flight. Hopefully the hunger will bring them back to the loft tomorrow.

Latest is dark checkered white tail was on the roof of loft this morning but still reluctant to come inside but hopefully hunger gets it in and seen my grizzle flying round

Latest news finally got both dark check and grizzle in loft eating now so happy now

Great news Matthew, they'll have learned a lot from their time spent out of the loft. :smiling-scarecrow-329:
