Imo the proposal should have been withdrawn or as Jim Hannah pointed out a rider could have been attached to the proposal that woulda tied in with the SNFC races. But neither was done so we had to go as the proposal was presented. Defo an error by the proposer and supporters on this occasion.
JohnQuinn Posted February 12, 2017 Report Posted February 12, 2017 The problem arose because they voted the Airdrie proposal in en bloc including dates before they seen what the outcome meant for joint convoying.......Imo the proposal should have been withdrawn or as Jim Hannah pointed out a rider could have been attached to the proposal that woulda tied in with the SNFC races. But neither was done so we had to go as the proposal was presented. Defo an error by the proposer, compounded by the supporters of the proposal not working out the dates either. :emoticon-0127-lipssealed:

Roland Posted February 12, 2017 Report Posted February 12, 2017 Think costs could have been lowered via joint transport. Even IF separate liberations. JMO.
POMPY Posted February 12, 2017 Report Posted February 12, 2017 RULE (noun) Meaning in the Cambridge dictionary , An accepted principal or instruction that states the way things are or should be done, and tells you what you are allowed and are not allowed to do. You must not break the rules , but in SPECIAL CASES you can BEND / STRETCH the rules. ?.

And this is Not a special case, it's incompetency plain and simple.

Ave never in my life saught tae alter the outcome of a vote or go start another club/organisation up because it didnae suit me, a go way the majority vote at all times and (foolishly maybe) I expect the same from everyone else. Just as I will do and expect on this occasion.

The costs tae the Fed are not an issue, we are well enough funded in the first 7 races tae carry us the rest of the way without making a Loss....no sure the birdage for the first 7 will carry us through this year though !!!
