the simple way to solve the problem is for the shu and rpra and others to make a rule stating no ets ring can be added unless in fanciers name or with a loft transfer from the ring owner if they thieves cant use them theres no point in stealing them

Manufacturers GUARANTEE chips for seven years manufacturers not suppliers if they were honest we would get them replaced

 

I had some replaced once after I sent them back

 

We sell ETS rings but I've never heard of a 7 year manufacturers guarantee. Where can I read or find out more about this? Which manufacturer as most of them are in China.

just as said its stealing from another fancier i had bird come back to me last year without them its a bad day and someone cant let peoples birds come home with there ets rings on

Rings can be reassigned.......no sure that you need to be unscrupulous to do it

I put ETS rings on my Ybs the first year we used them. That was the Last time I done it. Rubbers are perfectly acceptable tae get a velocity and if ye manage yer team right it disnae cost ye more than a few seconds and that's only against the ETS guys who can manage theirs well too. Jmo
