ally mac Posted August 7, 2016 Report Posted August 7, 2016 A wee hen came back yesterday for 2nd Dunbar race in April, still with race rubber. Wee bit scruffy but fine in body. Good to see her. She was bred from a cock and a hen that were my best doos 4 and 5 years ago. Good to see her and will see what next year brings for her Wee pic of her and her sire.
Kyleakin Lofts Posted August 7, 2016 Report Posted August 7, 2016 It is good to get them back Ally. One wonders what keeps them away for so long. Hopefully she will do you a turn next year.
paddymac Posted August 8, 2016 Report Posted August 8, 2016 I'm sure she's learned a lot from her time spent out Ally. Glad she got home safe.
paddymac Posted August 8, 2016 Report Posted August 8, 2016 Forgot to say her sire looks a cracker Ally
andy Burgess Posted August 8, 2016 Report Posted August 8, 2016 well i hope she re-pays next season . always great to get them home again .
ally mac Posted August 8, 2016 Author Report Posted August 8, 2016 Thanks lads. They must get pretty street wise after all that time out. She is in great order but havent started moult yet. I take it just good food and rest now?
Kyleakin Lofts Posted August 8, 2016 Report Posted August 8, 2016 Make sure she has a good moult and be very observant. She may need an easy time next season, which for you is unavailable.
