Ouch that's a tough one. Well done all :emoticon-0137-clapping:

The lads are still upbeat. They expected a hard one sometime. This is only their first year on the north with turned pigeons. They split their teams this week, so only sent 8. Next race is 12 mile up the road, so they'll be sending the other 8 in the hope that they will at least manage the next again race at just under 200 miles. They will then recoup and make decisions whether to continue or wait for YB's.

They have been having good returns at fair velocities before this sticky one and are happy they didn't quit the pigeons altogether, but gave the north a shot. :)

As Andy said it is our first year on the North road. It was a tough one but we got 5 out of 8. This year is all about returns. Good times are a bonus. Bring on Montrose
