Ian McKay Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 What are you thoughts on White racing pigeons Not White Grizzles only pure White birds Have you raced and won with them ? If so at what distance ?
Wiley Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 Fifer bred me one many years back now, he scored very well as a yb upto 235 mile, as an old bird he was lost on his first training spin. Alf Baker had Omo a fantastic bird, the marcel wouters pigeons will make a big impact in this country also i feel and many whites are produced from them
THE FIFER Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 had a story about a pair went from the nest to a friend in Nottingham, he raced them as yearlings, and as 2 yo was at Berwick, and one came to me, when I phoned him he said he had the 2 at berwick but still waiting on one, he couldnt believe it when i told him it was here, he sent for ir and put it back to berwick as a 3yo, and homed to him, he then tried it from Thurso and it came back to me again, i kept it and gave it to a club mate who bred some good flyers from it, those youngsters had never been out my nest box before going to nottingham,
