Today Wednesday the birds shall be released from Easthouses, approx 40 miles.

 

Pick up times

Clarkson 8.20

Uddingston 9.00

Blantyre 9.20

Carluke 9.45

What time were birds let up , I got 1at 12,25 my next doo was 17 mins and very patchy ,

We only sent the 3 birds that weren't at Wetherby 1st 1 12.49 2nd 12.56 and still waiting for the white cock

Sent 21 still 7 to come . Just wondered as my doo,s have been way off the pace this year and took day off work to see how my nat candidates came , glad I did now I know some not as sharp as I hoped .

Sorry not getting back sooner, have just been informed that were liberated at 11.30.

Thanks . Still one missing but that has been the story of my season .

Maybe work in Colin, doos cleared the site well, the problem is that there no doubt will be percys on the flight path home, sadly its impossible to avoid.

Fully accept that Gareth no complaints at all if anything it was just what they needed (tough toss) before basketing for nat .

I missed the liberation by 10 mins had visitors Alan but 3 members from club seen it birds broke into two batches then joined back up cleared in no time when I got to the site at 11.40 it was a west south west wind birds would have to work a wee bit today but a perfect day for a training toss

 

Big Stevie sent me this in a PM today so the start wasnae the problem...

It was a strong wind up here in Greengairs with some mega showers so if they hit them on way home it would cause them to detour a bit , if we got easy training every week then a hard one on a sat they would struggle a bit .

Best of luck Ito all who are going to the nat tomorrow.

It ended up 4 members seen liberation Adam Grailis was at the park with his g/son at the time and went over and spoke to driver and stayed for liberation he text me earlier saying it was a great liberation I text all members of club to let them know to keep the young birds in between 11 /12 And if they have time they can go along and see the liberation

Training this week will be Wednesday 10th June from Easthouses.
