showman Posted May 5, 2015 Report Posted May 5, 2015 Gave Gemthepax yesterday to pairs in stock loft, Y.B's are 3-6 days old. Went down to-day and all y.b droppings were way looser and changed colour. Couldn't wait to get drinker emptied !! Has anyone else been aware of this ? Used G/pax years ago but can't remember this happening.
paddymac Posted May 6, 2015 Report Posted May 6, 2015 I use it all year round in the loft Paul and have never seen this but I mix mine on the corn before feeding and big healty Ybs in the nest. I also think it is an asset to the older birds after any treatment
eastcoaster Posted May 6, 2015 Report Posted May 6, 2015 I use it for the stock and have never seen any difference to the droppings, I have noticed they are gorging on the black minerals and causing some to be a little loose so only give the mineral in small amounts in nest boxes.
neila Posted May 7, 2015 Report Posted May 7, 2015 never had a problem with it find it very good I just use it damp on the corn when breeding most days
