The strike rate is unbelieveable everyone is getting birds back ripped open be it a toss or race and the birds thats still to come are either dead or flown to a frazzle miles from home it would make you wonder how many strikes are happening from a short race were running out of time in this sport me thinks

The bit that gets me Ricky

On all the webcam sites at present the hens are sitting eggs

The grey mare s tail at moffat on camera it is sitting 4 eggs

They boast with their figures over the last 3 years successfully reared 4-2-3

In anyone's eyes that average 3 per year ,yet since the 1980s the official RSPB figures remain at 1400 breeding pairs

Politicians Spring to Mind

Took birds a toss Thursday , around 30 miles , got held up in traffic as usual (Kingston bridge) ,took me 1 1/4 hrs to get back ,went out to loft and thought good they are home , until I looked for a 2 yr old chew cock ,wasn't there then others ,6 in total , about 15 mins I seen a yearling chew hen coming with one right behind her ,aye right , it was fin Percy bass a , the wee hen was scared shi tless , then another 20 mins there was the chew cock wing trailing .,yes Percy had a go at him secondaries out and the usual talon marks ,got another two that night and two awol . Can't see this sport of ours sustaining this ,getting worse year on year come on RSPB get yer act the gither.
