W.D. Posted February 21, 2015 Report Posted February 21, 2015 I had a bird drop from the air today like a stone, miss the trap and hit the slabs, on going up the garden to have a look I could see she was in trouble with the bones on one side sticking up a lot more than the other wing.Tried to put it back into place but no luck, I can feel it clicking but don't think it is broken. Can anyone please give me some advice? Thanks, W.D.

W.D. Posted February 21, 2015 Author Report Posted February 21, 2015 Have your pigeons been locked up for a long while? They were out for a fly yesterday, and before that, last weekend for a fly and a bath.
lanarkshire lad Posted February 21, 2015 Report Posted February 21, 2015 They were out for a fly yesterday, and before that, last weekend for a fly and a bath.I have had it happen a couple of times i put it down to them being locked up too long during winter and when they get out they can get frightened by the hawk and take off at speed which can result in them getting strained due to being unfit.
W.D. Posted February 21, 2015 Author Report Posted February 21, 2015 That might well be the case. Did you manage to repair them after they got injured?
