With this proposed new boundary their is no scope for growth in the west section of Lanarkshire fed, any scope for growth / clubs / individuals to join is in the east and possibly a few lofts from the north end of the proposed new boundary ( that's if these individuals in the north can get into a club that is already part of Lanarkshire ) so for those who worry about winning fed prizes it should be the centre and east sections of the fed who are nervous with this proposal, IMO outwith possible open prizes it will have little effect on the west section where Cambuslang is currently in the best position to win fed west section positions and will only gain more of an advantage in the west section should clubs / individuals gain membership from the areas detailed above in the east / north of the proposed new boundary.

Right now I am neither for or against this new boundary I am only telling you what my thoughts are and although they are nice to get neither am I too bothered about winning fed cards.JMHO

I dont think the boundrie change will make any diffo to the fed membership much . To put things in perspective .In kirkintilloch there are only 4 active racing lofts left . Out of the 4 only one might consider joining lanarkshire imo . There are actually a lot more of glasgow fed members in the lanarkshire boundrie anyway as it stands and in a position to join lan clubs if they so wished but have chosen not to over the years so boundrie change wont make any diffo to them with them already being in the boundrie . At one time i would myself have been keen on racing in lanarkshire aswell but now with the lack of fanciers in this area i dont have the same interest as i used to so in that respect i wouldnt have the incline either .

after having had a closer look at the proposal for boundary change i am in favour and would like the total support from the new members that where allowed to join the Lanarkshire fed over the last few years they too where on the out side looking in , and would like to think they have no prejudice about the boundary being made available to others, and if the federation has no hang ups about giving 24 mile over fly as they Do, what problem should it have giving 10 mile to most lofts in the fed and even less to other lofts.

The Lanarkshire fed is for all, not just some who seem to think they have both feet under the table. and lay in a comfort zone. the lanarkshire federation is happy to give the members the vote but the way i see it, they would be hypocrites if they refused members in as they have no case to justify when the overfly already is non disputable in the federation, what is good for the goose should also be good for the gander. :emoticon-0126-nerd:

Turn up and vote for it then danny u pay your dues your entitled to it

don't see why it is a issue Geordie you give away 21mile one way, yet you are only giving away 8 mile if you vote the other, you support one at 21 mile to you why not the other just saying like :emoticon-0126-nerd:

All I'm saying is turn up and make your vote count mate nothing else. .. everyone has their own opinion and reason for and against so just each and every fed member make sure they get to the meeting and cast your vote that's the only place it counts

the question is will the meeting go a head ?????????????? lets wait and see emoticon-0127-lipssealed.gif

should be a commitee decision, in all fairness, after all it is there duty to make sure the fed thrives, and if they feel we need new members well in my eyes they should be able to call the shots and move borders with out fear of any members getting up tight about it what is the point having a guard dog you dont let it bite anyone
