johno Posted April 1, 2007 Report Posted April 1, 2007 would it not be better just to bar certain people making posts? this would leave the moderators more free time to get on with important things. i think we should do this.
Guest Hjaltland Posted April 1, 2007 Report Posted April 1, 2007 Why on earth would you want to bar ennybody?? Besides, the moderators have plenty of spare time....
mark Posted April 1, 2007 Report Posted April 1, 2007 everyone is entitled to there opinion why should someone be barred.? because there view is different from yours,

johno Posted April 3, 2007 Author Report Posted April 3, 2007 anyone think my original was foresight or just a good guess?
Guest Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 .............no your post made me think of censorship, when things get personal and individuals are being personally attacked , then I think there is room to warn and remove. BUT when people are givng opinions that may be diametrically oppossed to you or I,........ you want them banned???? That's dictatorship. I think for instance that moving the thread on Europa one loft race from the general board to the political thread is illogical.......however I respect the moderators right to do it!
Dougie Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 :the mere fact that anyone is suggesting what is in effect a restriction of membership choice highlights a major problem. why is the continual theme of ban suspend restrict so widespread? what is behind this attitude?: Think this Quote from yourself, Johno on another subject answers your suggestion on barring certain people from posting on the Forum
Roland Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 I agree with Johno just this once ... he should be the first, and possibly the only one, to go!
johno Posted April 6, 2007 Author Report Posted April 6, 2007 sorry to diappoint you roland even although you agree with me. i will be around as long as i can be.
SCOOBY Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 would it not be better just to bar certain people making posts? this would leave the moderators more free time to get on with important things. i think we should do this. Only been on here a short time but it seems to me that most things are taken in good fun. Why would you want to ban anyone for having a laugh? Maybe you should get a sense of humour and join in more johno because looking at your post count you haven't contributed much for the time you have been on her. Just a thought but maybe some of the people you want to ban may actually keep the forums going. This would be a boring site if nobody posted in case they offended anyone. Ok some people take things a little too far sometimes and thats were the moderators come in to it but i'm sure they have been picked for the job beacause they don't hold grudges and are fair to everyone without being biased in anyway. In short johno lighten up and enjoy what you have here ;D ;D ;D
