Thats the reason the NIPA switched their race points from the east coast of Ireland to more central locations as there was a few incidents like this when the birds were coming up over Dublin airport. :o

I remember a couple of years ago my ybs got burnt with 3 red arrow planes travelling up the m74 in celebration of the Olympics.

This season Ayrshire had a disaster from Dumfries YB, The next day the Red arrows were at the opening of the Commonwealth games, I wonder if there is a connection, if the arrows were training at Prestwick

because the south of the fed had decent returns but the north got hammered.
