nisbetx Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 I would like to thank Glen Fisk and other members of high southwick homing society for the efforts that they are making to gather and collect what appears to amount to quite a few Scottish young birds that lost there way on Saturday 16th and have taken refuge in many lofts in the sunderland area. A true gentleman and real lover of our sport. it is no secret our Scottish young birds have faced an extremely difficult time in the past two weeks and many flyers are left in despair. If there are any other flyers in the sunderland or Newcastle areas who have any su14 youngsters landed in their loft, or gb14 as quite a few Scottish birds are rung and wish to return these birds you can contact me by call or text on 01592 720189 or 07535108150 and hopefully we can arrange some pick-up. Again many thanks to Glen and fellow members of high southwick hs in initiating and organising this. True flyers and backbone of our sport.kind regards and grateful thanks, Gordon Nisbet (secretary of lochgelly homing society who are a member of fife federation)
