budgie Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 Just think of the decent honest fanciers who were sitting 2nd Open or missing out on the all major trophies over the last 5 years. Some have sadly passed away knowing that their chance of a lifetime has been taken away and they never received the accolades which should have been bestowed upon them. :( In the end it will all come oot in the washin but sadly to late. :(

Guest IB Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 ib will be there it might take a wee while ;D Thanks Frank, minimal involvement from me the subject of this thread was raised under AOB. I did ask if there was an existing procedure in the Fed to cover any case where one club member had a grievance against a member of another club in the Fed, and I was told there was. (This so-called 'investigation' operated outside that procedure). There was also a question raised as to the man's resignation from his club and this Fed, and the member was shown that letter by the Secy. There was also another letter produced - I cannot tell you its exact wording - but it was from the police saying that there was insufficient evidence .... As far as the Fed is concerned, the matter is closed. And as has been said elsewhere, there is motion that all future members of our clubs will be 'vetted' before being accepted. It won't be retrospective.
mazzie Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 ok POLICE say insufficient evidence so matter closed ,simply as that ,
Guest redwhiteblue Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 the letter regarding the police was addressed to myself, the letter from the fed stating that there was an ongoing police enquiry, that is the letter that I took to the police, the letter that was shown today stated that there was not an ongoing police enquiry about THAT letter which is on the club wall!!!! why is it you and norrie are the only people supporting him in the fed???? i hope you realise what you have done after your speech as everyone though it was very amusing especially your ambulance joke!!!! norrie left as soon as it was brought up, wonder why???? ps i hope you are not claiming petrol money to go to the shu meetings!
Guest redwhiteblue Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 ok POLICE say insufficient evidence so matter closed ,simply as that , a gibson fan remember what he done in your fed

mazzie Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 not a gibson fan , but its time to get over it ,its done than man will never fly pigeons in scotland again the matters over thers more important things to be talking about ie pairing up ,and its only 5 months or so till racing starts should we not be talking about that instead of a witchunt
The Grass Cutter Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 How on earth can any organisation label anyone as a "BAD MEMBER" and then make the decision not to allow him to participate in the fed. This member has not had the opportunity to defend himself at a properly convened meeting which should have been called by the fed, therefore he has not been found guilty of any misdemeanour. He now has the right to take the fed to the S H U. It also appears the fed, by not calling a meeting, have left themselves open to litigation. The person they appear to have now branded a "BAD MEMBER" has every right to take this further and I only hope the fed has plenty of money. I feel sorry for the new officials who appear to put it midly " been passed the buck". Finally can anyone explain to me what is a "BAD MEMBER".

I understand what you mean, but the way you have put this, you would think you were in favour of the cheat.I know this is not the case Grass cutter and that you want this man put out the sport for cheating and nothing else.It was stated at the N.W AGM that the SHU had advised the North West fed that they could not put him out as a cheat because they hadnt supplied ring numbers of winning pigeons and it was suffice to put him out as a BAD MEMBER. This was an opportunity for Mr X to clear himself of any allegations but he failed to do so .
ChrisMaidment08 Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 i have watched these threads on this matter and if i may i would like to point something out if fed has put this member down as bad one and he appeals they then have to say why as this matter is it seems finished this leaves them in very serious trouble cos they then could get sued by him for distress loss of carector and he would win cos noone has proof he commited any offence to blacklist him??? dodgy stuff ? reson cos they would have to lay the aligation again with no proof
weecunny Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 if police dont have anything well that the end surly
The Grass Cutter Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 DELBOY, how can anyone make that statement about ring numbers? The fed secretary has the ring numbers of the winning birds, it was up to the fed to supply them. I find it hard to believe that this statement was made by the SHU. I only hope this statement is on the record of the AGM.
maverick Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 Just hope you have not left the door open for him again

Guest IB Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 no change to day meeting then, top table reinstated with honers :-/ all members ;D happy No, as previously advised at the beginning of this thread, the VPs had previously intimated that they were not standing for re-election. And it has to be said that these guys are a loss to the Fed. I know for a fact one of them spent his weekend driving to and from Ireland to collect and deliver 40 new baskets to my clubhouse - for not a penny payment for his time. We have a new President and VPs. We voted back our existing Secy AND give him a raise.
