alec guinness Posted May 20, 2009 Report Posted May 20, 2009 Think the members of Carluke flying club might disagree there.Last years ybn must go down as one of the worst ever for returns. flew the 6 races as above with l/f sent 7 to ybn clocked 5 lost 1,2 on result turned out ok for me.
Guest Posted May 20, 2009 Report Posted May 20, 2009 think carluke young birds must have been ill them because everybody i spoke to said they had great young bird returns last year Around 90 Darkness birds carluke had at the snfc ybn NONE on the day.12 birds i had at the snrpc ybn same day 6 on the day natural youngsters.Strange that dont you think. :-/ :-/ :-/
frank-123 Posted May 20, 2009 Report Posted May 20, 2009 i take it all the ones that have had, hexhan in on monday, or kelso, or tow law, this week are saying to the rest of the fed f-eck you, we are all right jack . there is nowt wrong with ripon then leicester, start thinking about the other members, not about your self it was your distance man that let you down, not the fed members, you will have time enough with your 400 birds to lose them, and i dont think you will have any more at ypres :-/ :-/ ripon is the race that i think is the fairest, when you consider the help you can get with the 5 bird club and the likes you should have got off your backside and trained your birds or were you wanting someone to do it for you i bet your wee mac got off his backside

Delboy Posted May 20, 2009 Author Report Posted May 20, 2009 get them out to newark that is what is in the book and i only have 10 old birds and it is not anything to do with anyone if your birds are not ready it is your on fult not the fed not the race controller IT IS UP TO YOU TO GET YOUR BIRDS UP FOR IT I agree, what difference does it make if its Wakefield 190 miles or Newark 238 miles. If their fit, theyll do it ok.,Lets get back to the original programme
Guest bigda Posted May 20, 2009 Report Posted May 20, 2009 you should have got off your backside and trained your birds or were you wanting someone to do it for you i bet your wee mac got off his backside bart i am not talking about what i did i am talking about the fed and what it did to members,we cant all go with the five bird club as they haven't the room i have had my own training but i am not thinking of my self, i think of others , there birds might be fit and well to go all i was stating that they get a fair crack at the whip what the fed owes them is a ripon-and a wakefield, but never got to any of them
tom corrie Posted May 20, 2009 Report Posted May 20, 2009 I agree, what difference does it make if its Wakefield 190 miles or Newark 238 miles. If their fit, theyll do it ok.,Lets get back to the original programme Delboy are you sure your not a member of the lanarkhire fed ? because it looks to me as if you would like to control it

ALF Posted May 20, 2009 Report Posted May 20, 2009 Leicester will still be the yearling duplication race i take it?
Guest Posted May 20, 2009 Report Posted May 20, 2009 i feel for yous it doesnt matter what way you go if birds are lost (and you must remember its over the 150mls and we all have sh** that would have gone down anyway ) regardless of not getting a race last w/e so someone will get the blame old/new race controller but you can be sure of one thing they wont put any blame on themself good luck i hope yous get back to good racing
Guest WINGS 04 Posted May 20, 2009 Report Posted May 20, 2009 Leicester will still be the yearling duplication race i take it? yes i think it is still the yearling race
Guest Posted May 20, 2009 Report Posted May 20, 2009 thats what you said vincent what you should have said the snfc young bird national was a poor race returns wise because lanarkshire fed had great returns last year If you read the first post you quoted from myself again, you will see YBN then you might understand reasons for the second.
budgie Posted May 20, 2009 Report Posted May 20, 2009 Will it be central marking this week? Alf Just spoke to Ian Henderson and it will be central marking up to 20th June and Leicester on the 13th June will be the special duplication race for yearlings.Good luck to all in the forthcoming weeks.
Guest bigda Posted May 20, 2009 Report Posted May 20, 2009 wakefield newark newbury then leicester that is the way the fed is going from this weekend if thats the program you have shot your selfs in the foot as far as the fed has gone as the race to newbury will mean 600 doos at the most as the sprint guys wont support it and i think the newark one is allso going to put the birdage down as the moult will be apon the yearlings in june 13th or very close
