Guest Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 just debt suspended ones then ;D NO! now your acting like them bigda twist it enough and people will forget the real problem
naedoos Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 stuart the trade descriptions department will run with this. the shu are operating a restrictve practice. put the matter to alec neil msp the doo mans friend and to murdos own msp. put the situation to all the msps who are members of the raptor working group.ask them to look into it. contact awards for all and ask to have the awards for all grant returned as the shu is not open to everyone. they got a grant for the biased history of the shu book. this is the only way we will stop this happenning to other people. if the actions of this organisation are not made public they will continue to do what they are doing. stop them now. I'm sure the SHU's open to everyone that's willing to pay the yearly subscription Just how bitter are you?? ;D ;D ;D
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 yes willie that correct.it has happened to me and to others as well ,you send in your request and cheque they send , the transfer back not transfered and keep the cheque well it was not correct in my case, after I left the SHU when I moved to England and joined the RPRA in a newly formed partnership with Chrissy, who was already an RPRA member, we wanted to transfer my birds in to both our names annd new partnership, the SHU were more helpful than the RPRA were, the SHU just issued us with a new non membership loft number so all the SHU rings were duly transferred from my name to our new loft number with neither of us being in the SHU,we had tried with the RPRA to get the SHU rings transferred to our RPRA loft number and they said they could not do it so we had to do it through the SHU who were extremely helpful and efficent and this allowed us to carry on showing all the birds we have as they are all registered to both of us, so I can only say we were well satisfied with the end result .
hotrod Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 well it was not correct in my case, after I left the SHU when I moved to England and joined the RPRA in a newly formed partnership with Chrissy, who was already an RPRA member, we wanted to transfer my birds in to both our names annd new partnership, the SHU were more helpful than the RPRA were, the SHU just issued us with a new non membership loft number so all the SHU rings were duly transferred from my name to our new loft number with neither of us being in the SHU,we had tried with the RPRA to get the SHU rings transferred to our RPRA loft number and they said they could not do it so we had to do it through the SHU who were extremely helpful and efficent and this allowed us to carry on showing all the birds we have as they are all registered to both of us, so I can only say we were well satisfied with the end result . your sircumstance was different tammi , this post would have been 100% the other way if you stayed in scotland and joined the rpra let me tell you .PS GOOD LUCK ON YOUR BIG DAY

Guest Gareth Rankin Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 Seems to be a flaw in the system at what has happened here, the SHU is like the RPRA far from perfect, on this occasion ask your friend Murdo that since these rings don't exist if he would like me to register them for them as a SHU member then when 14 days are gone i will transfer them to him at the RPRA.

AND BIGDA its 2009 rings he cant get registered so young bird racing has'nt started yet ,but not long to go.
