think it was raised at shu and all was within rules. any member can put forward proposal to agm to change rule. if you need 5 members for a club and 4 clubs for a fed there should be a rule stating  minimum of 20 separate members to form a fed

It sure is and it was only brought out in the open when a former president of the SHU used the fed to keep his role as president....

yes i know but its allready showing how jobs for the boys are open to abuse some dont think of how it might affect the racing that doesnt come in to it when the rules are bieng exploited sory bent to suit 1/2 fanciers

It was raised at an SHU meeting and nothing could be done because I was there at the meeting and no rule was found to be broken. You can also have 5 members paying 4 different fees to  clubs with 4 different names,  Example Armadale Pigeon Club,   Armadale DHS,     Armadale Homing Society and     Armadale Whatever,     You then have Davy Fleming paying 4 different fees for 4 different clubs and the same for the other 4 members alongside him  you then have a fed  all duplicating into all the clubs . There are no sections only an open result sending 20 birds  in total all on an open result,     5  members sending 20 birds to an open race  MMMMMMM  not impossible, right or wrong it is a simple fact unfortunately as it stands

better than letting an egotistical ambitious individual with no knowledge of the rules or constitution of the SHU becoming president of the SHU in our centenery year, who incidently left the sport under a very large cloud in the same season, it took a lot of guts for john barlow to do what he did for the SHU only to step down the following year to make way for svp ian noble, john barlow was a great president with an impeccable manner and character and second to none when chairing meetings.

someone on here suggested that they should alter the rules making a minimum of twenty lofts to form federation, why dont they go ahead and propose it at agm of coarse they also realise they will eventually lose a lot more members through doing so, if some of us put more effort in to helping others within the sport maybe we could survive a few more years instead of trying to self destruct.

i agree competely with your first paragraph. can you explain why a 20 member rule for federations would cost us members; where would you draw the line. like you say if some put a bit more effort in including accepting good fanciers within their area into their nearest club things would be much better. far too much bickering about petty things is killing the sport

yes the same rule that is in the shu but the rpra wont bend it to suit an offical as you fine know

yes mate but 10 members dublicate your name ,s and form four clubs out of the 10 members ,you all pay 4 shu fee,s  then get birds transported by another fed ,its happened mate 100%

aye transported by thev fed who refused to take them in as members even though they were in the radius tut tut  :X buck stops at shu dont bother trying to blacken fanciers who want to fly there doos in the union of there choice anyway dont matter now not shu any more  :-/
